By treating the hard water with the Scale Sentry system, scale build up is eliminated, saving appliances and plumbing fixtures! Similar benefits as using a regular water softener. Comes with 2 stage sediment and carbon filter for general filtering of your water and to protect the scale prevention media. By using an upflow system, backwashing is not required, no electricity, no waste water. The upflow valve also has a simple In/Out design to make installation quick and easy.
