The Total Water Filtration System (TWFS) Series water treatment from PuriTec combines the long lasting and reliable filtration of KDF-55 with the patented RWE hard water conditioner. There is no electricity needed, no backwashing or water waste, and no routine filter maintenance. The KDF is an NSF Certified media inside the main tank that substantially reduces chlorine, heavy metals and also inhibits the growth of bacteria. The upflow design prevents water channeling for maximum filtration.

The RWE Conditioner inside the tank is for de-scaling, reducing water spots, better sudsing and gives the water softer properties.

A sediment pre-filter and a post carbon filter is provided to address chemical contaminants and dangerous chlorine by-products.

Functionality:

Stage 1: "Sediment Filter" removes particles such as rust, sand and others as small as 15µm

Stage 2: removes chlorine and enhances pH balance with a natural copper/zinc mineral media called KDF. This mixture is effective against heavy metals, organic contaminants and odors. KDF effectively removes 90% or more of free chlorine in shower water. Your water filter purifies the mercury, iron and hydrogen sulfide. The filter transforms harmful chlorine into harmless chlorides.

Stage 3: "Polyphosphate" water softening, highly effective against dissolved lime in the water.

Installation:
Unpack filter
Best installed between the shower / bathtub faucet and the tube or between the tube and the showerhead.
Use your hand to tighten slightly to the rubber seal.
Rinse the filter after installation.
